Clinton Moore Ready To Smash a 720 for X Games FMX Best Trick

Australian Freestyle Motocross rider Clinton Moore has been invited to make his return to X Games this year to compete in Freestyle MX Best Trick and perform one of the biggest tricks ever, the 720 degree spin.

Clinton narrowly missed a podium place in 2010 X Games Best Trick with a Volt to Seat Grab body varial combo, and in 2011 Clinton made the toughest decision of his career to pull out of X Games due to shoulder surgery.

It was a case of so close yet so far as the HGMtv crew came within a whisker of winning the "Slab" section in the 2012 ASL/Oakley Big Wave Awards.

HGMtv had 4 entries in the Slab category with the thumping pit that underground West Oz charger Ben Rufus scored at the near mythical "Black Rainbow" (pictured right) making it into the final five and scoring Ben a free trip to NSW for the final judging.

Australia’s newest Freestyle Motocross superstar, Josh Sheehan, won his first major international competition at his home-nation Red Bull X-Fighters final round, held on Cockatoo Island, Sydney, Australia on Saturday afternoon.

Sheehan defied the odds after almost crashing earlier in his semi-final, to quickly turn his mistake into a career defining moment when he executed a perfect Double Backflip in his Semi-Final round against eventual 2011 Tour winner, Dany Torres to set himself up with a Final round against New Zealand’s Levi Sherwood, where he would go on to win.

After years of studying weather charts and quite a few failed missions the HGMtv crew finally scored bigtime at a secret surf spot somewhere in the south west.

"Black Rainbow" is one of the heaviest waves in the world with it's super cold water combination of size, power, remoteness and distance from shore together with the regular visits from White Pointers mean just the bravest of the surf crazy men tackle this beast.

Australian Freestyle MX sensation Josh Sheehan has capped a stellar month of competition wins in Europe with his sixth consecutive win in the IFMXF Night of the Jumps in Russia, and in less than a week had signed on with Red Bull and finished in 3rd place at the Red Bull X-Fighters in Roma, Italy.

Australian Freestyle Motocross star Josh Sheehan has continued his current winning form in the IFMXF Night of the Jumps 2011 with yet another win in Munich, Germany on Saturday night, which takes his tally to four consecutive wins, one away from the record of 5 consecutive wins held by Remi Bizouard in 2009.

The Carlton Dry Honda FMX team and Valyside Apparel rider, Sheehan dominated the Munich round after qualifying in first place and then taking out the Best Whip competition with his trademark upside-down whips on the 450cc machine.

But you know you have to because it will all come to an end soon and you will curse every minute you missed when the surf is shit for weeks.

Western Australia’s Freestyle Motocross star Josh Sheehan has celebrated his 25th birthday in style, by taking out the win at the Unit Farm Jam competition held in the foothills of scenic Otapiri Gorge in the south of the Southern Island of New Zealand, and also securing the ‘Best Trick’ with his 360 degree rotation in Freestyle Moto.
